The Department of Public Administration, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has honored the Chairman of Anambra State Sports Commission (ASSDC), Hon. Patrick Estate Onyedum with the “Excellent Leadership Service Award”.
Onyedum received the award at the second edition of the Alumni Converge, an international conference organized by the department.
Responding, Hon. Onyedum who was represented by his Special Assistant on Media, Comrade Rome Ibekwe expressed his gratitude for the recognition.
He commend the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Charles Esimone, for his outstanding achievement of being ranked among the top four best universities in Nigeria.
Onyedum eulogize Governor of Anambra State Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, for his transformative initiatives that have contributed to making Anambra State a hub of investment. He averred that the initiatives and programmes of Soludo have played a significant role in attracting both local and international investors to the state, thereby creating opportunities for economic growth and development.
