A newly surfaced CCTV footage has debunked claims that online personality VeryDarkMan was arrested inside a GTBank branch.
The footage was shared in a post on popular social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
In the video, the CCTV captures the interior of the bank, showing VeryDarkMan conducting his business and later exiting the premises.
Another clip reveals the exterior of the bank, capturing the moment he was approached by unidentified individuals alleged to be security officers.
While the identities of the individuals remain unclear due to the lack of visible uniforms, conflicting reports claim VeryDarkMan is currently in police custody, while others suggest he may be held by the EFCC.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding his arrest, the CCTV footage clearly shows that VeryDarkMan was not apprehended inside the GTBank, contrary to earlier reports.
