Jack Obinyan, a popular social media influencer, has showered praises on President Muhammadu Buhari after he approved the contract for the Lagos-Calabar coastal rail line to connect all coastal cities in Nigeria. Speaking through his official Facebook page, Jack Obinyan said when it comes to projects, Buhari is the President of the South.
Well, according to reports, the Lagos-Calabar coastal rail line is expected to go from Lagos to Sagamu, Sagamu to Ijebu Ode, Ijebu Ode to Ore, Ore to Sapele, Sapele to Warri, Warri to Yenagoa, Yenagoa to Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt to Aba, Aba to Uyo, Uyo the Calabar, Calabar to Akamkpa to Ikom, and then to Obudu Ranch; with branch routes from Benin city to Asaba, Onitsha Bridge and then Port Harcourt to Onne Deep Seaports. It was also reported that the contract was approved for $11.17 billion, and it is expected to be completed in 6 years.
However, Jack Obinyan, who is known for commenting on socio-political matters, also reacted by saying there’s no debate about the fact that Buhari has done some projects in the South. Speaking further, Obinyan said the “NLNG Train 7” project and the Lagos-Calabar Rail Line is enough to end the arguments.
