The dust has barely settled on FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ but many teams are already looking to the future and starting to plan for their campaigns to qualify for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

With that in mind, ANN runs through the status of the coaching set up for all 32 teams who participated in the World Cup in Qatar. Find out which teams have opted to keep the faith with the coach who led them in Qatar and which ones have opted for a different approach for the next cycle.

Argentina: Lionel Scaloni is under contract until the 2026 World Cup.

Australia: Graham Arnold is soon to be out of contract but he could sign a new deal.

Belgium: The role is vacant after the departure of Roberto Martinez.

Brazil: Tite is out of contract and has confirmed he will not stay in charge. The CBF is considering multiple candidates as his successor.

Cameroon: Rigobert Song is under contract until 2024

Canada: John Herdman’s future has not been clarified although he says he wants to stay.

Costa Rica: Luis Fernando Suarez is under contract until the 2026 World Cup.

Croatia: Zlatko Dalic is under contract until 2024.

Denmark: Kasper Hjulmand is under contract until 2024.

Ecuador: Gustavo Alfaro’s contract is due to expire soon but he could renew his deal.

England: Gareth Southgate is under contract until 2024.

France: Didier Deschamps’ contract is due to expire soon but could be renewed.

Germany: Hansi Flick is under contract until 2024.

Ghana: The role is vacant since Otto Addo departed .

Iran: The role is vacant after Carlos Queiroz departed.

Japan: Hajime Moriyasu has renewed his contract until the 2026 World Cup.

Korea Republic: The position is vacant since Paulo Bento departed.

Mexico: The role is vacant after Gerardo Martino ‘s departure.

Morocco: Walid Regragui, who took charge in August and led the team to the World Cup semi-finals for the first time, is under contract until 2026.

Netherlands: Louis van Gaal has left the role and has been succeeded by Ronald Koeman .

Poland: The role is vacant after the departure of Czeslaw Michniewicz.

Portugal: The role is vacant after the departure of Fernando Santos.

Qatar: Felix Sanchez’s contract is due to expire soon but could be renewed.

Saudi Arabia: Herve Renard is under contract until 2027.

Senegal: Aliou Cisse is under contract until June 2024.

Serbia: Dragan Stojkovic’s contract is due to expire soon but could be renewed.

Spain: Luis Enrique left the role and has been replaced by Luis de la Fuente, the team’s former under-21 coach.

Switzerland: Murat Yakin is under contract until 2024 .

Tunisia: Jalel Kadri’s contract is due to expire soon but could be renewed.

Uruguay: The role is vacant after Diego Alonso’s departure.

USA: Greg Berhalter’s contract is soon to expire but could be renewed.

Wales: Rob Page is under contract until the 2026 World Cup.
