“The case is still at the court of appeal, we see no reason why the PG will be dethroned without due process. This is intimidation and its not acceptable.

” We gave the Army men two days notice to vacate this premises but they have refuse to leave. This prompted us to come out as the youths of Nimo Community.

” The elected executives of NTDU should be allowed to focus on their administration.

“According to the Army officials, Owelle Nimo ordered them to mount in front of the Secretariat. They told us that they were brought to secure the community during this yuletide season.

” The Army men said there were misinformed about their mission in Nimo.

“Our message is simple and remains that Zeelunjo remains the President General of Nimo. This is our stand and position. Those mischief makers should not take laws into their hands, instead, they should wait for court judgment.

“Until the certificate of recognition is been withheld by Anambra State government
from Zeelunjo, he remains the PG.

“Nobody has the right to stop Anakpe from discharging his duty as the PG. He should return to his office.

“Anybody that has grievances should attend the general assembly meeting slatted on the 27th of December 2024”
The Youth leader submitted.

First National Vice PG of NTDU, Comrade Chigbo Anaedobe while speaking said the on-going development is really unfortunate.

” On the 4th of January, their was election after which some party did not accept the outcome.

” They went to court and the judgement stated the the election is null and void and that BOT should appoint a new care taker committee that will take over.

” The question now is that ‘is the judgment an executory order? Its a judgment that can be appealed which we have done.

Hon. Anaedobe called for calm, urging ndi Nimo to go ahead with their normal daily activities and that everything is in order.

” This event has exposed alot of hypocrites amongst us. On the 24th of December 2024, NEC meeting will take place. There are alot of issues to be addressed both in the NEC and General Assembly.

“We are low abiding citizens, waitng for the judgement of the Court of Appeal’ The Vice PG concluded.

A market women at Oye Nimo who does not want her name to be mentioned kicked against the move to dethrone the PG stating that Anakpe should be allowed to complete his tenure because he was elected by the community.
