Nigerian Comedian and Actor, Bright Okpocha better known at Basketmouth has taken to his verified facebook to announce the change of his name from Basketmouth to ‘Onyekwere’ ‘until after 2023 general election.
he writes thus “due to the fact that we are in campaign season and unavoidable some politicians will be talking anyhow, thereby earning them the tag ‘basketmouth’ by the online community.”
The comic actor added that he ‘decided to change his stage name to “Onyekwere” until after the elections’.
