Member representing Aguata one constituency at the 8th Anambra state house of assembly, Hon. Anayo Emmanuel Okpalaeke says he will be an impactive and responsive legislator.
Okpalaeke while speaking to newsmen after the innuguration of the 8th assembly, assured his constituents of quality representation. The lawmaker also commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his impact in the lifes of ndi Anambra
“The list thing the electorates expect from a good leader is essential amenities and by the special grace of God, Governor Chikwuma Soludo has been providing that to ndi Anambra.
“The 8th assembly will key in as partners in progress because what we are projecting is “Project Anambra’. and that is the fundamental thing’.
ANN reported that the 8th Anambra assemby on Monday June 12 took oath of office at plenary after the member representing Ogbaru two constituency Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze emerged Speaker while Hon. Chukwuma Pius Okoye emerged deputy speaker.
President General, Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU) Youth Anambra state, Hon. Ken Okoli in an interview with reporters urged the legislators to attract dividend of democracy to their different constituencies.
“The 8th assembly should be an assembly of people that are ready to make the difference in line with the vision of the governor which is to make Anambra livable and prosparous. The 8th assembly is for people who are willing to take bold steps in driving the transformation of agenda of the governor. We employed them to serve us and we will not let them do the work alone. We will be up to date with what they are doing the house of assembly and make contributions when necessary.
Former All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Auditor, Anambra state, Chief Anthony Nchechekube on his part urged the 8th assembly to hit the ground running.
“Am expecting life changing bills and motions that will guarantee the future of Anambra youths from the lawmakers. Am calling on them to support governor Chukwuma Soludo vision.
Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka and Nze Chijioke Umeorji on their part called on the lawmakers to meet up to the expectations of ndi Anambra.
“I expect the 8th Anambra assembly to be the best and to also perform better. They should keep to their campaign promises and attract good constituency projects.
