* The Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) Anambra council has commended the state government’s efforts to cushion effects of the high inflation but asked government to monitor SEMA and other agencies distributing the relief materials for equity, fairness and just sharing. The union led by Comrade Odogwu Emeka Odogwu PhD in their October Congress frowned at a situation where relief materials would be brought in hundreds of trailers but packed to rot away before sharing.

* The Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief Protocol Officer to Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, Hon. Chinedu Nkemakonam Nwoye has explained that Soludo Support Group is grassroots mobilisation for Governor Soludo and not for personal aggrandisement or enrichments whatsoever. Nwoye who stated that he is still the National Coordinator of SSG and fully in charge said that from hindsight, SSG and other support groups were set up to help propagate and promote the present administration in the hinterlands especially as it concerns the delivery of good governance.Â

The National Chairman of the party, Barrister Sylvester Ezeokenwa, who disclosed the congragatory message while speaking with members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, during a courtesy visit at the APGA zonal Secretariat Awka, equally charge the President to urgent sought out possible way to cautioned the hardship Nigerians are currently going through as a result of the fuel subsidy removal.
* The President of the World Christian International Ecumenical Center Worldwide, Rt Rev. Ikechukwu Ekwemmuor has revealed that the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will be released before December 15, 2023. Rt Rev. Ekwemmour gave the revelation during a four day National Ecumenical Prayer Conference which took place at the Anambra state Ecumenical Center, Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area.Â
* The Case Between Commissioner of Police And Chief Chijioke Okaa and Olufemi Salako at the Chief Magistrate Court sitting at Nnobi has been adjourned to January Twenty six next year.
According to the Chief Magistrate, Mr Ken Nwoye, the court has commenced its annual leave and would resume sitting next year. When the case was called up for hearing, Barrister Jerry Emebie of the Ministry of Justice announced appearance as the new Prosecution Counsel, replacing the former counsel, Barrister Ifeanyi Eze. The change of baton was not objected to by any of the parties.
* The Chairman All Soludo Support Group and National Coordinator of Soludo Support Group (SSG), Hon. Chinedu Nkemakonam Nwoye has declared that five dissident members of the SSG family are plotting evil against Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, whom they claimed to be supporting. Nwoye who is the Convener of Soludo Support Group as well as the Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief Protocol Officer to Governor Soludo, said the five pretenders are seriously plotting to unleash the opposition on the governor come next election, if the governor doesn’t comply with their selfish and self-centred conditions.
