My Vision Is To Increase Ojukwu University’s Visibility, Viability : Prof Omenugha

The new acting Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, COOU, Anambra State, Professor Kate Omenugha says her vision would be marked by increased visibility and viability of the institution.

Prof. Omenugha while speaking after a courtesy call by the youth wing of Anambra State Association of Town Unions – ASATU, led by Comrade Ken Okoli, highlighted renewal of the value system for youths, as a critical step in redirecting Anambra youths and keeping them focused on what matters.

She also emphasized building a new moral code for students of the university and youths generally, vowed to hit the ground running, with her key reforms that are geared towards the university’s visibility and viability.

“There are challenges, but my vision is anchored on visibility and viability of the university and we are determined to take every step to ensure that Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu University experiences remarkably increased visibility and viability”, she assured.

Founded about twenty-three years ago, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu University is still a work in progress, just like many of its contemporaries.

However, the assurance of increased visibility and viability by the incoming Acting Vice Chancellor means that the quality of teaching, research, and learning will improve to appreciably higher standards.

It also implies that to a remarkable extent, the environmental and aesthetic challenges, as well as the infrastructure demands of the institution, will be noticeably addressed. It appears to be a hay time for the university.
