* Anambra Commissioner for Information Sir Paul Nwosu says Governor Chukwuma Soludo, has shifted into top gear the Ease of Doing Business in Anambra, as the goal is to move the state from Number seven to one in Ease of Doing Business ranking in the country for all indicators saying that it will undoubtedly further leverage the right kind of investment ambience that will propel prospective investors with the confidence to invest in Anambra State.
* The remains of Barrister Clara Obi, wife of the traditional ruler of Nnobi in ldemili South Local Government Area Igwe Nick Obi have been laid to rest. Aged eighty, the deceased served at various capacities as executive officer of the East Central State Government, Administrative Officer of the State Civil service, Senior and Chief Magistrate in Anambra State judiciary where she retired from active service. The funeral mass held in her honour at St Mary’s Catholic church Awuda Nnobi was presided over by Cardinal Francis Arinze.
* Anambra state Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Pauly Onyeka has lauded the plans of Governor Chukwuma Soludo to connect the current Awka city of Amasea, Ntokur with Awka 2 at isiagu axis to realize the desire mega city for the South East. Angel Network News reports that Hon. Onyeka while speaking at his office at the Jerome Udorji Secretariat during a courtesy visit of J.C Michael’s Limited and their overseas partners, revealed that Anambra State Government is constructing 1,000 Ultra Modern Lock up Shops at Isiagu through Public Private Partnership (PPP).
* A Chieftain of the Labour Party Chief Joe-Martins Uzodike has frowned at the spat between Governor Chukwuma Soludo, the church and with the traditional institution. Chief Uzodike who spoke to Journalists in Awka urged the governor to avoid such distractions but rather work harmoniously with them in the interest of the public. Uzodike, a former Commissioner for Information in Anambra however commended Soludo for conducting a midterm review with a view to assessing the impact of his administration, stating that the governor had shown demonstrable desire to serve the masses genuinely.
* The TC Chairman of Dunukofia LGA Hon. Onyemaobi Augustine Nonyelum has received Comr. Onwubuya Chukwujekwu Moses, the newly elected 47th National President of the Nigerian Medical Students Association. The Chairman congratulated Chukwujekwu on his emergence as NiMSA President and urged him to stay focused, in order to contribute to the growth of the Mother Association and Dunukofia in general.
* The Anambra State Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, Chief Sir Ifeatu Obi-Okoye has called for sober reflection as Nigeria celebrates Armed Forces Remembrance Day in commemoration of our fallen heroes.
Chief Obi-Okoye made the statement in Awka while paying tribute to veteran soldiers that laid down their lives while in the service of their fatherland.
* South East Young Progressives Forum has called on the All Progressives Grand Alliance to remove the garment of hypocrisy and stop speaking from two sides of its mouth as far as the All Progressives Congress is concerned both at national and state levels. The group also advised Governor Soludo-led administration to face governance instead of using instrumentality of state power to intimidate traditional or religious institutions that associate with APC or any of its stakeholders in Anambra State. National Coordinator, Comrade Paschal Candle in a statement, said Soludo had enough headaches to tackle, including broken down internal security in our cities, especially the state capital Awka, crude waste management system, thuggish revenue collection and confiscation of items belonging to poor citizens.
* The Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has re-assured traders and operators of various businesses that he would leave no stone unturned to ensure that they receive adequate support from government and relevant agencies.
Ubah made the remarks after the morning prayers organised by the Auto Spare Parts and Machineries Dealers Association, ASPAMDA, Tradefair Complex, to mark the resumption of businesses.

* Mrs Nonye Soludo, has begun moves to introduce breast cancer mitigation programme to Anambra state. The Governors wife disclosed this in a post on her official social media accounts, said that the programme will be part of her NGO’s focus on raising awareness and providing support for the elimination of the disease
