Former 2021 governorship candidate of the People Democratic Party PDP, in Anambra State Mr. Valentine Ozigbo on Saturday July 20th celebrated his 54th birthday with widows in Awka.
In his Speech, Ozigbo explained that the essence of the 54th birthday celebration was to thank God for sustaining his life and family over the years and not for the sake of political campaign.
Ozigbo said he was happy and privileged to be in the midst of the widows cut across the 21 local government areas of the State, who gathered to celebrate with him. He charged the widows to continue to pray for peace and progress of Anambra and Nigeria as a whole.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that the widows while appreciating the gesture, assure the Labour Party leader of their full support in the upcoming 2025 governorship election in the state.
The widows who received a total of one hundred 50kg bags of rice from Ozigbo,
described him as a leader of an incredible personality in Nigeria, calling on others to emulate his life of selflessness and giving.
The celebration was crowned with a thanksgiving mass held at CANAN house Awka, presided by Rev. Jonas Unegbu of Awka Catholic Diocese.
The celebrant was accompanied by his family, friends and thousands of Labour Party stakeholders in the state.
