Former Managing Director (MD) of
Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) Sir. Chido Obidiegwu has officially hand over to Mr. Christopher Molokwu.

Molokwu while speaking at ABS Corporate Headquarters in Awka, assured ndi Anambra, South East region, Nigeria of a world-class media organisation that will compete with its contemporaries globally.
Mr. Molokwu assumes duty few days after his appointment by Governor Soludo and the redeployment of Sir Chido.
Receiving the handover note, Mr. Molokwu who thanked Sir Chido for the success he recorded during his time at the helms of affairs of the organization, assured that he will hit the ground running to turn ABS around as he is optimistic that ABS is blessed with lots of talents and potential to excel.
Molokwu said he will operate an open door policy and will welcome partnership to realize the Governor Soludo’s vision for the organization.
Delivering his handover speech, Sir Chido appreciated Governor Soludo for the opportunity to serve Ndi Anambra and acknowledged the giant support received from management, staff and the Soludo-led administration and expressed optimism that Mr. Molokwu will bring about dynamism and youthful drive to modernize the establishment.
Speaking during an inspection tour of the departments and units in the establishment shortly after assuming duty, Molokwu said the establishment must be urgently activated to meet up with Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s vision to drive government programmes and policies to the people of state at home and in the diaspora.
According to Mr. Molokwu, ABS has the capacity and potential to compete with its contemporaries globally and extended his hands of fellowship to the management, staff and fans of the organization, and stakeholders in the state to realize the vision of making the organization a recognized brand in West Africa.
He revealed that Governor Soludo’s plans for the station speaks volumes of the importance he places on reaching to Ndi Anambra at home and in the diaspora and to project the vast economic and investment opportunities available in the state to the global community.
The new ABS boss pointed out that with a well motivated staff, he will speed up the process of enriching the organization with contents that will make it a first choice destination for her audience and more.
Mr. Molokwu was accompanied on the inspection tour by members of the management team and other senior staff of the organization.
