* The Traditional Ruler of Awka; Obi Gibson Nwosu has commended the Governor Chukwuma Soludo on his developmental strides, especially in Awka with both inter and intra city roads, new Government House, Solution Fun City amongst other structures befitting of a capital city.
Speaking at his Palace in Awka during a press conference, which also had King-Makers, Ndi Ozo, community chairmen from the thirty-three villages of Awka, youth leaders amongst others present, Obi Nwosu who spoke through his traditional Prime Minister, Chief Benjamin Okoye, appreciated the Governor for restoring the lost glory of traditional institutions in the state and also the appointment of Awka indigenes in his administration.
He assured the Governor on the unwavering support of his stool while thanking Awka illustrious sons including, Senator Ben Ndi Obi, Chief Clem Nwogbo Professor AU Nnoyelu and Ukpo, Anambra State business tycoon, Engineer Arthur Eze for their noble support.

The Mayor while speaking in a meeting presided by Idemili South LGA APGA Chairman Hon. Chief Kezito Anoliefo in Ojoto, re-emphasized on the need for the ward excos to redouble their efforts to ensure landslide wining for APGA in the forthcoming election.
The Mayor commended Governor Soludo for keeping to his campaign promises of a prosperous, livable and smart mega city.
According to Obi, Soludo has mainstreamed all in the People’s Manifesto, giving priority to good governance and infrastructural development.
* Governor Chukwuma Soludo has expressed hearty felicitations to Chief Emeka Anyaoku on the occasion of his 92nd birthday.

* The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze has described former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku as a revered Diplomat whose service at the Commonwealth fetched Nigeria high regard and recognition among other African countries.
Felicitating Chief Anyaoku on his ninety-second birthday, Rt.Hon.Udeze noted that Chief Anyaoku discharged his duties at the Commonwealth of Nations creditably and was recognized by various organs of the International Community.
The Speaker extolled the advisory roles being played by Chief Anyaoku in Nigeria and Anambra State in particular where he has continued to use his wealth of experience to advance good governance.
He noted that Chief Anyaoku’s contributions to the growth and development of the church of God and his community, Obosi are legendary, adding that even his foreign assignments and engagements could not prevent him from participating in the local Obosi customs and traditions, hence his recognition by the entire Idemili people as “Ugwumba Idemili”.
* A Non Governmental Organization (NGO) Nkwachukwukwelu Charity Foundation has given educational succor to some primary schools in Umuoji, Idemili North Local Government Area.
The three primary schools that benefitted from the largesse include Our Lady’s Primary School, Ugwumba Memorial Primary School and Dimechem Primary School Umuoji.
The Educational materials distributed include exercise books, biros, pencils, erasers, school bags and sharpeners among others
Some less privileged families were also supported with cash for their children’s school fees.
* The Deputy Director General of Sir Paul Chukwuma Primary Election Campaign Council for Anambra South Senatorial zone, Chief Jude Osude, has inaugurated local government coordinators across the seven LGAs of Anambra South zone.
The inauguration which was held at Igbo-Ukwu in Aguata LGA of Anambra South Senatorial zone, was attended by local government chairpersons of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Speaking shortly before the inauguration, Chief Osude emphasized the need to make concerted efforts towards a robust grassroots presence of the APC.
Osude therefore charged the seven LGA Coordinators of Sir Paul Chukwuma Primary Campaign Council for Anambra South, to go and take the message of the New APC under the guidance of Mr. Chukwuma, to the grassroots.
* Governor Chukwuma Soludo has commended the Special Anti-Touting Squad Anambra (SASA) for their outstanding contributions to maintaining peace and order in the state.
Soludo gave the applaud on Saturday at the International Conference Center (ICC), Awka. The governor praised the squad’s remarkable achievements since their establishment in October 2023.
Soludo highlighted SASA’s success in clearing touts from the streets, particularly in areas like Upper Iweka, once infamous for criminal activities.
The governor also extended his gratitude to all security personnel in the state, acknowledging their collective role in ensuring a secure Anambra.
* The Chairman of Njikoka Local Government Area, Hon. Chinedu Ononiba
has announced a registration program for farmers in the six towns of Abba, Abagana, Enugwu-Ukwu, Enugwu-Agidi, Nawfia, and Nimo.
Barr. Ononiba in a bid to boost agricultural productivity and improve the livelihoods of farmers in Njikoka, maintained that the initiative is part his efforts to make the local government area a liveable and prosperous community in accordance with the vision of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
In a press release by the Supervisory Councillor of Agriculture, Hon. Chika Omile, the registration exercise will take place at the Njikoka Local Government Headquarters (Agriculture Department) from March 17th, 2025, and will run daily from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Tuesdays to Fridays.
* Anambra Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze has said that the State Legislature will continue to contribute meaningfully towards the security of lives and property of Ndi Anambra.
Rt. Hon. Udeze while speaking on the launching of Operation Udo Ga Achi by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, noted that the State Legislature dully passed the Anambra State Homeland and Security Bill to provide a legal framework for the establishment and operations of the Agunechemba Security Outfit.
The Speaker while commending Governor Soludo for his security efforts and initiatives in the State, enjoined the officials of the Agunechemba Security Outfit to comply with all the principles of the law and ensure strict collaboration with other security agencies and stakeholders in the State for the total security of lives and property of the citizenry.
* The Mayor of Idemili South local government area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi has congratulated a business magnate and philantropist, High Chief Emeka Hamilton Ezeonu on emerging 2024 Man Of The Year by Nnobi Youths/Otu Egwu Onwa Nnobi.
Hon. Obi in her congratulatory message said, the recognition presented by the youths highlights his remarkable contributions to uplifting the less privileged and contributing to the development of his community, Idemili South and Anambra State.
Council Mayor who was accompanied by Deputy Mayor, Hon.
