The Chairman of Njikoka Local Government Area, Barr. Chinedu Ononiba, through his representative, Hon. Afoma Okpala, the Supervisory Councillor for Health; led a team to donate essential medical equipment to the Primary Health Centres in Abba Ward 1 and Ward 2.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
the donation, is part of the Solution Government’s commitment to improving primary healthcare delivery in Anambra State.
The donation facilitated by the Anambra State Government under the leadership of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo included a wide range of medical tools and equipment aimed at strengthening healthcare services and ensuring that residents receive timely and quality medical attention.
The items donated include: BP apparatus, glucometer, anti-shock garments, bed sheets, baby toys, fotoscope, dressing trays, patient beds, delivery bed, medical screen, pillows & foams, drip stands, baby weighing scale, adult weighing scale, suction machine, kidney dish, trolley, scissors, picking forceps, and taps.
Present at the event were Hon. Adaobi Nweke, the Councillor representing Abba Ward 1; Comr. Osondu Ozumba, a key APGA stakeholder in Abba Ward 1; and Hon. Amaechi Ezeazor, who represented the Abba Town Union.
The stakeholders appreciated the timely intervention and praised the Solution Government for its continued investment in grassroots health development.
They noted that such support validates Governor Soludo’s people-first governance approach and reaffirmed their support for his re-election on November 8, 2025, stressing that the continuation of the Solution Government is crucial for sustained progress across Anambra communities.
