Anambra 2025 Guber: ASTUC Youths Endorse Soludo For Second Term

As the November 8th 2025 Governorship election approaches, the Anambra State Town Unions Council (ASTUC) Youths have formally endorsed Prof. Chukwuma Soludo for a second term in office.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
the President General of ASTUC Youths, Comrade Ken Okoli, in opening remark
expressed the group’s confidence in Governor Soludo’s leadership.

Comrade Okoli maintained that the
administration of Prof. Soludo has significantly transformed Anambra through various developmental projects.

The ASTUC Youth PG highlighted improvements in infrastructure, youth empowerment, and security as key achievements that have earned governor
Soludo widespread recognition and support.

The group endorsed the Governor and reaffirmed their commitment to support his re-election bid during their General Assembly and inauguration of 326 Community Government Group (CGG) Ward Coordinators held at the Old Government House, Awka.

In his speech, the Chairman of Awka South ASTUC, Comrade. Chinaza Okoye, stated that the One Youth, Two Skills program is Soludo’s administration is one of the administration’s most impactful initiatives particularly for young people seeking sustainable means of livelihood and emphasized that the initiative has successfully reduced unemployment and positioned Anambra youths for economic independence.

Also speaking, the Youth Leader of Ukpo Community, Comrade Chukwudi Obinna, acknowledged the empowerment opportunities the One Youth Two skills
initiative has provided for thousands of young people across the state.

Comrade Obinna noted that many beneficiaries have established small-scale enterprises, contributing to local economic growth and community development.

The event ended with a renewed commitment from ASTUC Youths to sustain grassroots mobilization for Governor Soludo’s second-term agenda, with a pledge to collaborate closely with government agencies in promoting peace, unity, and youth inclusion in governance.

The gathering, which attracted youth leaders from across the 21 local government areas of the state, focused on strengthening the operational structure of ASTUC Youths and mobilizing grassroots support for the continuation of the present administration.
