The Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Works and Infrastructure makes an oversight visit to the Pal Junction–Oko–Ogboji connecting road and the Uga–Amesi–Akpo–Ogboji road.
Speaking during the inspection, the Committee Chairman, Engr. Emmanuel Nwafor said Governor Chukwuma Soludo is the best choice, citing the quality and pace of ongoing road projects across the state.
The Committee Chairman maintained that
work on the roads is progressing and noted that earlier drainage challenges had been addressed, adding that the road width, concrete mix and overall construction standards are being strictly adhered to.
Engr. Nwafor commended Governor Soludo for his commitment to road infrastructure development, describing the projects as a clear demonstration of his administration’s resolve to deliver durable and standard roads across Anambra State.
Also speaking, the member representing Aguata Constituency Two, Dr. Tony Muobike, said the projects clearly show that Governor Soludo remains the best option for Ndi Anambra, adding that the ongoing road construction reflects the fulfilment of the promises made by the Governor to the people.
On his part, the Project Manager handling the Oko–Ogboji road, Engr. Richard Krobakpo, disclosed that the project is about 60 percent completed, adding that initial security challenges had been successfully tackled, allowing work to continue unhindered.

Speaking, Engr. Elias Alshabab, in charge of the Uga–Amesi–Akpo–Ogboji road, assured that the project would be completed within the next three months.
