Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 8, 2025 governorship election in Anambra, Chief Nicholas Ukachukwu, has said that members of the party will ensure President Bola Tinubu wins in the state during 2027 presidential poll.
Ukachukwu, while speaking at APC stakeholders’ meeting in Awka, revealed that they would do everything within their powers and take necessary actions to ensure that Tinubu wins in Anambra state.
“We have endorsed Tinubu before. We are reaffirming what we said in the larger stakeholders’ meeting. We have no choice. That’s what has to be done. And then, we have to work hard to make sure we deliver”.
“Yes, it’s not going to be easy, but it’s doable. Considering the last feat we achieved, even when the sitting governor was claiming to be part of us. I think we can do far better this time, to make sure that Tinubu wins.”
Ukachukwu revealed that the party members were prepared to slug it out with other political parties in the state and ensure that the president performs better than he did in 2023.
“It’s no longer the issue of 25 percent because it’s a settled matter. So, it’s about winning and winning well. And we are going to work hard to get it done,” Ukachukwu assured.
