Ex-Real Madrid Nutritionist Claims Staff Sought Supplement Advice From Free ChatGPT

Former nutritionist at Real Madrid has alleged that club staff have been using the free version of ChatGPT to determine which supplements to give players.

Itziar Gonzalez, who worked with the Spanish champions, made the claim in an Instagram post that quickly circulated on social media.

She wrote that club personnel were routinely asking the publicly available artificial-intelligence tool for advice on nutritional supplements for the squad.

González, reacting to Kylian Mbappé’s knee diagnosis via IG after getting sacked:

“Thank you Kylian. Hopefully they’ll look for COMPETENT, EDUCATED people instead of 𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭, 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥-𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 who only end up hurting the boys.”

“I already said it but it is very easy to humiliate myself to protect those people who work here to be friends. The worst thing is that they are still there.”

Real Madrid has not commented on the allegation. The club is known for employing a large support staff that includes doctors, physiotherapists and performance analysts.

The revelation comes amid growing injuries of most top players in the club.
