Akor, Ejuke Target of Abusive Chants from Sevilla Fans

Two Super Eagles playere playing for Sevilla were subjected to abusive chants from sections of the club’s own supporters during a La Liga fixture, local media reported.

Forward Akor Adams and winger Chidera Ejuke faced repeated insults from a group of fans at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium.

The incident occurred amid growing frustration with the team’s recent poor results. Neither player has issued a public statement on the matter.

Sevilla club officials have not commented officially, but sources close to the dressing room described the chants as “unacceptable and damaging to team morale.”

The episode highlights ongoing challenges with fan behaviour in Spanish football, where several clubs have faced sanctions for discriminatory conduct in recent seasons.
