Disc jockey and billionaire heiress Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has revealed she now seeks a low-profile partner with a regular 9-to-5 job and no social media presence after dating men from diverse backgrounds.
Speaking on The Zeze Millz Show, the 32-year-old daughter of businessman Femi Otedola said her experiences have shifted her preferences toward simplicity and privacy.
“I have dated all kinds of men, a lot of different types of men, and what I find out is working for me now is the 9–5, no social media, super low-key guy that doesn’t really care,” Cuppy stated.
She recounted going on a date with a bus driver met on a premium dating app she paid £400 (about N725,000) to join, alongside dates with a model and a footballer, stressing there was “nothing wrong with that.”
“You have to be open-minded,” she added, noting that she has enjoyed the dating process despite her high public profile.
Cuppy’s comments come amid growing online discussion about her romantic life, especially after her younger sister Temi Otedola’s marriage to singer Mr Eazi. The DJ, known for past high-profile relationships and her flamboyant lifestyle, appears to be seeking a partner who stays out of the spotlight.
Observers have noted the contrast with her previous public persona, interpreting the preference for a “doesn’t-care” type as a desire for genuine connection away from social media scrutiny and celebrity pressures.
The billionaire heiress and philanthropist has frequently used her platform to discuss personal growth, relationships and mental health, often drawing mixed reactions from fans.
