Sadio Mane, Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr clinched the 2025-26 Saudi Pro League title with a commanding 4-1 victory over Damac on the final matchday.
Sadio Mané opened the scoring in the 34th minute, followed by Kingsley Coman’s strike early in the second half. Morlaye Sylla pulled one back from the penalty spot for Damac, but Ronaldo sealed the win with two goals, including a free-kick, taking his tally to 28 league goals this season.
The result saw Al Nassr finish with 86 points, two ahead of rivals Al Hilal, ending a title drought since 2019 and delivering Ronaldo his first major trophy in Saudi Arabia.
Heading into the match, a win was enough for Jorge Jesus’s side to secure the championship regardless of Al Hilal’s result. Ronaldo started alongside João Félix, with Coman and Mané providing width in attack.
Ronaldo had earlier expressed determination to win silverware in the Middle East. The Portuguese star, who has scored consistently as a target man under Jesus, played a decisive role in the title-clinching performance.
Damac, fighting relegation threats earlier in the season, offered resistance but ultimately fell to the champions-elect at Al-Awwal Park.
The victory triggered wild celebrations among Al Nassr fans, marking a successful campaign for the star-studded side.
