WWE veteran Brock Lesnar defeated star Oba Femi in a hard-fought rematch at the Clash in Italy event on Sunday, levelling their rivalry following Femi’s shock victory over him at WrestleMania 42.
The Beast Incarnate dominated much of the contest at the Inalpi Arena, delivering a total of seven F5s to secure the pinfall after targeting Femi’s left arm with repeated Kimura Locks.
Early in the bout, Lesnar hit four consecutive F5s, but the resilient Femi kicked out, forcing the former champion to adapt his strategy. Femi mounted several comebacks, including a chokeslam and moments of resistance despite the damage.
The most punishing sequence saw Lesnar drive Femi through the announce table with an F5.
Lesnar’s win comes after Femi stunned the wrestling world by defeating him in under five minutes at WrestleMania, an upset that prompted Lesnar to leave his gloves and boots in the ring in what many interpreted as a retirement tease.
With the score now even, speculation is growing over whether WWE will book a decisive third encounter between the two, possibly at SummerSlam.
