Real Madrid and Brazil winger Vinicius Junior has sparked widespread discussion on social media after appearing with noticeably transformed facial features following cosmetic surgery on his chin.
According to reports, the 26-year-old underwent the procedure at a specialist clinic in Goiânia, Brazil, performed by dermatologist Dr Alessandro Alarcão. The surgery aimed to make the chin area more pronounced and defined using injectable substances.
The change became evident weeks after Brazil’s early exit from the 2026 World Cup, where Vinicius scored four goals despite the team’s round-of-16 defeat to Norway. Speculation intensified after his former girlfriend Virginia Fonseca posted images showing the pair together in a gym.
The transformation has drawn mixed reactions, with many noting the significant difference from his appearance during the tournament. Vinicius has not publicly commented on the procedure.
