Afrobeats star Burna Boy was reduced to tears after Port Harcourt singer Duncan Mighty told him he disliked all of his songs, according to a photographer who says he witnessed the aftermath.
Leon Photography, who works under that name, said he accompanied Burna Boy to Duncan Mighty’s home to request a guest verse, at a time when Mighty was at the peak of his fame in the Rivers State capital.
“I took Burna to Duncan’s house to get a verse,” the photographer said. “Duncan told him he didn’t like ANY of his songs.”

Leon Photography said the rebuff deeply affected the singer, who was still upset on the journey home.
“Burna drove me home in his mom’s Honda, still crying, and said Duncan would beg him for a verse in the future,” he said.
The account describes an early moment in Burna Boy’s career, when Duncan Mighty was widely regarded as the biggest act in Port Harcourt’s music scene.
