The eight-month pregnant partner of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has escaped injury after a three-vehicle collision in Istanbul, Turkish media reported.
Stefanie Kim Ladewig, 26, was driving an SUV at about 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz, in the city’s Eyupsultan district, when the accident occurred, according to the Demirören News Agency.
Ladewig entered a bend and collided with a light commercial vehicle driven by a person identified as Paris T. She then lost control of her vehicle, which struck another SUV travelling in the opposite direction.
All three vehicles were damaged, but no injuries were reported among those involved.
Ladewig was taken to a private hospital in the Maslak area of Istanbul’s Sariyer district for precautionary medical examinations because of her pregnancy. Doctors found her to be in good condition and she was later discharged.
Born in Berlin, Germany, Ladewig works as a model and shares fashion and beauty content on social media. She and Osimhen, who plays for Galatasaray and the Super Eagles, have a daughter.
Osimhen featured for Galatasaray in a UEFA Champions League match against Barcelona on the same evening.
