The palace of Alaafin has been besieged with mourners to honour the late first class Yoruba monarch.
Business activities on Saturday were paralysed in Oyo town with ships and businesses around the palace shut.
Oba Adeyemi joined his ancestors in the late hours of Friday at Afe Babalola Teaching Hospital after a brief illness.
Some area close to the palace like Aremo, Ile Asumo, Atigisi, Asipa, Obalolu and Lagondoko were deserted as preparations for his burial gear up.
