Days after the recruitment of five thousand (5000) teachers and subsequent issuance of appointment letters to them by the Anambra state government led by by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, positive reactions have continued to trail the development.
Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA Chief Boniface Egbutu maintained that such a move by Governor Soludo will go a long way in improving quality teaching and learning in Anambra State.
He said that the promise by the Governor to pay the newly employed teachers their December salary will boost their morale adding that the Governor’s commitment to awarding contract for either construction or re-construction of two hundred and thirty kilometers of roads across Anambra State will no doubt enhance both human and vehicular movements and boost business transactions.
Chief Egbutu who is a community leader at Nise in Awka South Local Government Area used the opportunity to call on Ndi Anambra to continue with their support and prayer to the Governor to enable him deliver on his mandate
Contributing another Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance and a Community leader at Nanka in Orumba North Local Government Area Chief Osita Ezechukwu who extolled Governor Chukwuma Soludo for having different approach to governance said that the governor’s declaration of state of emergency on roads and the award of contract for the revamping of some decapitated General Hospitals in Anambra State shows that Governor Soludo is prepared and committed to improving the living standards of Ndi Anambra.
Chief Ezechukwu called on affluent individuals to remember the less privileged individual this Christmas in order to give them a sense of belonging.
He urged Christians to use this period of Advent to pray for peaceful co-existence and smooth conduct of next year’s general elections.
Anambra State Head of Service Barrister Theodora Igwegbe, has also commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo, for recruiting five thousand teachers into the education sector of the State Service.
This commendation was made at the International Conference Center in Awka during the symbolic presentation of appointment letters to teachers who were recently employed by the Anambra State Government.

The State Head of Service expressed delight with the timeliness of the recruitment while describing the exercise as open and typical of excellent leadership.
The Head of Service while welcoming the new teachers into the service advised them to embrace true diligence, and excellence which the present Anambra State Civil Service is known for.
Barrister Igwegbe who hinted on the past achievements of teachers and students in Anambra charged them to ensure that through their diligence to service and professionalism they will surpass those feats already achieved.
