…More trainings will be coming up from 2023
Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Patrick Agha Mba says Anambra state government has commenced the payment operational cost of over four hundred (400) Master Trainers who are currently training Youths in 20 different Skills acquisition areas in the 21 LGAs of the State.
ANN reports that the “One Youth Two Skills Projects Solution” is an apprenticeship program which is designed to train and empower 4000 Youths and create 1000 millionaires in the state.
According to Mbah, the government’s mandate is to implement the program through his ministry. The Commissioner while addressing the Master Trainers in his Ministry lauded them for the effort and commitment on the partnership with the state goverment and believing in Mr. Governor Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR by training the trainees attached to there business centers without receiving any take off payment since November.
Mba also said that more trainings will be coming up from 2023 and charged the Master Trainers to focus on the deliverables. He went ahead to remind them of Mr. Governors promise to reward outstanding 21 Master Trainers drawn from the 21 LGAs with 1m each.
“At this point in time Mr. Governor will not like to waste resources of the state that’s why his ministry has take out time to conduct a thorough verification before payment.
