* Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has flagged off construction of the 6.4 kilometers Nnokwa-Adazi Enu-Akwaeze road. The Governor who performed the flag-off ceremony during a campaign event at Adazi-Tim Enu’s Arinze Okpala Memorial Hall, restated his policy of development politics in Anambra.
* The chief whip of Anambra state house of assembly Hon Dr. Pete Ibida (Ide Nimo) Currently vying for Federal House of Representative for Dunukofia, Anaocha, Njikoka (DNA) has called for a collective effort to bring in more government presence in Nimo community. He stated that since APGA is Anambra, there was need to work together to create more employment opportunities to cushion the effect of economic melt down. He thanked APGA faithful for the massive support.Â
* Anambra State Police Command has uncovered plans by some groups of persons to take advantage of the new Naira notes scarcity to unleash violence in some parts of the State. The Command has described the scarcity as not peculiar to Anambra State alone and noted that the Federal Government was doing everything possible to address the situation.Â
* Patrick Onyedum, Chairman of Anambra Sports Development Commission (ASDC), on Wednesday inaugurated a 16-man Anambra Sports Solution Initiative (ASSI) Main Organizing Committee (MOC). The MOC, which was later devolved into six subcommittees that would drive the organization of the 2023 Anambra State School Sports Festival, scheduled to hold between April and May.
* Hon. Dr. Jude Akpua (Ph.D) APGA House of Assembly candidate for Njikoka 2 constituency has commended the good people of Nimo community and pledged to deliver the dividends of democracy if elected. * Amanuke Development Union (ADU) Lagos Branch, has appreciated the Professor Chukwuma Soludo led administration in Anambra state for flagging off the construction of Amansea-Ebenebe- Ugbenu-Ugbene road, with a spur to Awba Ofemmili road , all in Awka North Local Government Area. ADU Lagos Branch made the commendation through their Chairman, Mr Chinedu Samuel Egwuonwu, Onwa when they paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Anambra state council ,Comrade Odogwu Emeka Odogwu PhD at the Godwin Ezeemo International Press Center, NUJ Secretariat, Awka.
* Anambra Central Senatoral Candidate, Hon. Dozie Nwankwo (Onye Ndozi) has thanked the good people of Nimo, for the massive support and pledged to execute more projects in the community if voted into the 10th Senate. He listed some of his projects in Nimo to include scholarship to Nimo students, bore hole at Oye Nimo, classroom blocks among others. He stated that the ICT center he built in Enugwu-ukwu was for students keep abreast with the global trends.
