* Anambra State government led by Prof Chukwuma Soludo, has begun the rehabilitations of damaged water supply facilities in the flood affected areas across the state. ANN reports that the commissioner in charge of power and water resources in the state, Engr Julius Chukwuemeka, said that the ongoing project which the state government is doing in the collaboration with UNICEF, was to ensure that the people, especially those in rural areas, have access to clean & portable water.

* The Archbishop Province of the Niger, and Bishop Anglican Diocese of Awka , Most Reverend Alexander Chibuzo Ibezim PhD,  described the death as one death too many. He said the death has thrown the entire Diocese into mourning. Archbishop Ibezim noted that the Christendom lost a hero of the gospel of ecumenism and evangelism without sorrow in this part of the world.  

* The senator representing Anambra South District Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah has provided a solar powered facility that has the ability to charge Mobil phones using energy converted from Sunlight to his zone. This become even more imperative especially amongst rural dwellers and market people as the country faces epileptic power supply challenges. 

* The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for Idemili North/South federal constituency at the just concluded general elections Hon. Ikenna Iyiegbu has commiserates with the Anglican Church of Nigeria over the death of Former Dean Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Most Rev’d Maxwell Anikwenwa, who was called to glory this day, Monday, March 13, 2023. Archbishop Anikwenwa was the former Archbishop of Province 11 and the Retired Bishop of Awka Diocese, Church of Nigeria(Anglican Communion). Most Rev’d Maxwell Anikwenwa gave up the ghost at the age of 83 years. Ike Cubana, in a condolence message, said that the death of former Dean, Bishop Maxwell  Anikwenwa, was devastating, adding that he passed on when his service was highly needed

* Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) Anambra state house of Assembly candidate for Oyi constituency, Hon JohnPaul Ajuluchukwu has received the backing of ndi Nteje ahead of the March 18 elections. Ajuluchukwu who hails from Nteje has become the choice of most of his people who according to their projections stands a great chance of becoming the next lawmaker to represent Oyi constituency.

* Senator-Elect for Anambra North Senatorial in the just concluded February 25th senatorial election, Dr. Tony Nwoye expresses deep shock and sorrow over the death of the former Dean, Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion and Archbishop Emeritus of the Niger Province, the Most Rev’d Maxwell Chukwunweike Anikwenwa at the age of 83.

He describes Archbishop Anikwenwa’s passing as a great loss to the Anglican Church and Christendom in general, maintaining the news of his death came with a profound pain of the loss of such a great treasure of the Church, where the deceased Archbishop was a strong voice in the Christian community and bestrode like a colossus in God’s army, teaching the word of God without fear or favour.
