BEIN Sports analyst Abdulaziz Al-Nasr has delivered a stinging critique of Cristiano Ronaldo’s influence at Al Nassr, claiming the team has prioritized goal celebrations over winning titles.
“In the last two seasons, Al Nassr has become weaker,” Al-Nasr said. “A Cristiano goal is celebrated more than a team win. He has turned his teammates into his ball boys instead of warriors.”
The analyst took aim at the team’s obsession with Ronaldo’s trademark “SIU” celebration. “All they do is make the ‘SIU’ celebration with him every time like little kids. Another season with over 30 SIU yet no title to show for.”
Despite Ronaldo’s impressive goal tally, Al-Nasr argued that the forward’s presence has not translated into silverware. “Al Nassr lack a leader and Cristiano is not a leader,” he said.
The comments have sparked debate among fans and pundits alike, with many questioning whether Ronaldo’s star power is overshadowing the club’s collective goals. As of now, neither Ronaldo nor the club has responded publicly.
