Anambra Assembly Commend Soludo For Constructing Mmiata-Nzam Road
Anambra State House of Assembly has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the construction of Mmiata-Nzam road in fulfillment of his campaign promise to the constituency.
Sponsor of the motion Hon. Patrick Udoba in his submission said Anambra West Local Government Headquarters situated at Nzam is the only LGA in the entire federation without an access road and the Mmiata-Nzam road is very strategic and of great economic importance.
Hon. Udoba who is the member representing Anambra West stated that
Mr. Governor during his campaign, promised to construct and complete Mmiata-Nzam not only as an access road to the Local Government Headquarters but to also ease the movement of farm produce from the area.
“This road had been previously awarded by previous administrations without completion.
“Grateful, that Mr. Governor has almost completed the construction of Mmiata-Nzam road and will soon commission the road which will not only make Anambra West Local Government Headquarters accessible but will also boost socioeconomic activities of Ndi Anambra West.
“Anambra West is no longer the only LGA in the entire nation without an access road. It is now a thing of the past because the story has changed
” Anambra West which is the food basket, is now the best LGA in the state and we are greatful to Soludo”. Hon. Udoba said
Speaking in support of the motion, Hon. Nonso Atuchukwu (Nnewi South one),
Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Okoye (Awka South two), Hon. Anayo Okpalaeke (Aguata one), Hon. Emma Nwafor (Orumba South) and Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Jude Akpua (Njikoka two) in their separate speech, hailed Mr. Governor for his intervention.
