Commisioner for information Anambra state Sir Paul Nwosu says government didn’t direct all schools and markets to close on 15th and 20th of December.
In a release on Thursday 1st December made available to ANN and signed by Nwosu reads;
“My attention has been drawn to a fake notice flying round the social media wherein it was allerged that Government has directed that all schools and market in the state be closed on the 15th and 20th of December.
“Let me state clearly that both informations are very much untrue, fake and misleading. I have not issued any such release. The fake news did not emanate from my office nor any other government information unit.
“The public is hearby called to upon to dismiss the information as fake, false and misleading. This is the handwork of mischief makers.
