Anambra State government has assured ndi-Ihiala that it will not allow those unknown elements who has made themselves enemies of the state to take over the homeland.
The State Government through the office of the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Hon Tonycollins Nwabunwanne stressed that Governor Chukwuma Soludo is making serious efforts towards protection of lives and property of all the inhabitants of the state
Nwabunwanne who visited the council’s Headquarters which was attacked and set ablezed by unknown people at the early hours of 12th January, 2023 went further to highlight that the state governor Soludo is saddened by the unwarranted attack on the public structure.
Hon. Nwabunwanne who made the visit in company of the local council’s TC Chairman Hon. Kingsley Obi and security agents among others, stated that the visit was to access the area so as to ascertain the level of damage the incident left on them. The commissioner appealled to the people to be patience.
ANN recalled how unknown persons invaded the Ihiala Local headquarters on 12th January around 1:am – 3:am, killed three security personnel on duty and burnt down many facilities
