…Government is not doing enough for the youths – Sen Ekwunife
The office of the Special Adviser to Anambra on Entertainment, Leisure and Tourism in conjunction with the ministry of education today November 4th 2022 held the second edition of Anambra talent show in Awka.
Deputy Governor of Anambra Dr. Onyekachi Ibezim while speaking at the event assured youths that the administration of Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has better plans for them. He encouraged them to be law abiding citizens stating that there futures is bright with prospects.
The Speaker of Anambra state house of assembly Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor while addressing the youths said numerous platform have been created to empower young talents. He encouraged them to keep the hope alive stating that the Soludo’s administration is determined to bring lasting solution to the challenges confronting the youths.Â
The senator representing Anambra central Sen. Uche Ekwunife while speaking to the youths urged them to be prepared so as to grab all opportunities that will might come there way in the nearest future. Ekwunife however lamented stating that government is not doing enough for the youths. She however encouraged them to always be on there best behavior.

Anambra assembly Chief Whip and the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Candidate for Dunukofia, Njikoka and Aniocha (DNA) federal constituency, Hon. Pete Ibida while addressing the youths urged them to be entrepreneurs.

“You need to brainstorm, do research, consultations and find good mentors. You must be resilent, tenacious, initiative, obidence to law and order, patience. Anambra youths have the capacity and potentials to make it in life and I believe that the future is brightÂ
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Awka North and South federal constituency Hon. Emeka Igwe on his part regretted over lack of job opportunity facing the youths especially graduates. He advocated that more policies should be done in favour of the youths. “When youths are engaged, they won’t have time for crime. The youths should hold politicians and Office holders accountable. They should stand up for there rights.
Special Adviser to Anambra governor on Entertainment, leisure, tourism Mr. Bob Manuel  Udokwu before announcing the selected youths thanked the state government for creating opportunities for upcoming artists to showcase there talent. He emphasized that the idea behind the talent show is not to eliminate the dreams of those that didn’t make it. “If you don’t make it to the final stage, you can might make it next time. Try and try again’. For those going into the house there will only be one winner but weather you go into the house or not, you all are winner’ Bob Manuel said

Earlier, there where discussions on the topics:Â Responsibilities of the government in youth empowerment. Youth entrepreneurship and creative economic and lastly, Protecting the girl child in Africa society”.

The high point of the event was the announcement of the chosen contestants from acting, singing, dancing and technovetion, whom will be competing amongst each other soon.
