Anambra Lawmaker Rehabilitate Borehole In Umuchu, 200 Constituents To Be Enrolled Into ASHIA

The member representing Aguata one constituency at the Anambra State House of Assembly Hon. Anayo Emmanuel Okpalaeke on Saturday July 6th 2024 as part of his constituency project rehabilitate a borehole at Umugama hall Umuchu.

Hon. Okpalaeke who is the Chairman House Committee on Education and Deputy Chairman Committee on Environment while speaking before the unveiling of the project explained that it was in fulfilment of his campaign promises to solve the needs of his constituents and thanked God for making the day a reality,

The lawmaker promised to do more for his constituents noting that he is following in the footsteps of examplary leadership of Governor Chukwuma Soludo by impacting the life of the people.

Okpalaeke revealed that two hundred (200) members of Aguata one Constituency will be enrolled into Anambra State Health Insurance Agency (ASHIA) soon and expressed gratitude to the people of Umugama stating he got the highest votes from them after Achina.

The Transition Committee Chairman of Aguata Local government area, Dr Chibueze Oforbuike while commending Hon. Anayo Okpalaeke for his intervention, described the lawmaker as a man of his words, an inspiration who is toeing the path of social welfare governance that Governor Soludo is known for.

Hon. Oforbuike charged the people of Umuchu to ensure that the facility is well maintained for sustainability stating that lack of water remains one of the challenges confronting Umugama.

The TC Chairman also commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo on his giant strides and for impacting on the lifes of ndi people.

” This project is strategic because it will benefit all members of Umugama committee. Climate change has made scarcity of water a big challenge, and streams are all dried.

” We are greatful Hon. Okpalaeke and we will continue to support and pray for him. We will protect this project jealously”. Oforbuike promised.
