The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) members in Ogbaru Two Constituency of Ogbaru Local Government Area, have elected their representative and Speaker, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze as the House of Assembly Candidate in the May 23, 2026 APGA Primary Election.
The peaceful APGA Primary Election which took place in all the ten electoral wards in Ogbaru Two Constituency, recorded an impressive turnout of APGA faithful and was witnessed by INEC officials.
Announcing the result of the election, the Returning Officer, Barrister Barnabas Kenere, revealed that the Speaker, Rt. Hon.VUdeze scored a total of Seven Thousand One Hundred and Eighty Seven votes (7,187) to beat his opponent, Mr. Enebeli Afamefuna who scored One Hundred and Sixty Eight votes (168).
Rt. Hon. Udeze, having scored the highest number of votes cast, was returned elected as the APGA House of Assembly Candidate for Ogbaru Two Constituency.
Responding, the Speaker expressed gratitude to APGA members in Ogbaru Two Constituency for the confidence reposed in him by electing him as the House of Assembly Candidate.
Udeze assured them that he would not take their mandate for granted, but will continue to work towards the peace, unity and development of Ogbaru, as well as the improvement of the living standard of his constituents and beyond.
Angel Network News (ANN) recalled that the people of Ogbaru Two Constituency had earlier endorsed Rt. Hon. Udeze for reelection to the House of Assembly, in view of his effective representation which has continued to project the image of Ogbaru and transform the lives of the people of the area for the better.
