Hon Sir Pete Ibida, the APGA flag bearer for Njikoka 1 and 2 Federal House of Representatives has reaffirmed his conviction that All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has great chances in the forthcoming 2023 elections, especially in Anambra State.
Ibida, who is also the chief whip of Anambra House of Assembly, made this known during an exclusive interview with Angel Network News ANN yesterday at his country home in Nimo, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The House of Reps hopeful described APGA as “the mother of all parties” in Anambra State and pointed out that the party unlike others in the state, has continued to maintain sustained growth through the years.
“We started with when Peter Obi won with the party. When he entered the government house, the state assembly was virtually PDP dominated, but then the system started metamorphosing to what it is today with APGA as the majority in the state assembly.Â
“Obiano came in, got 21/21. Then Soludo came in. Because of insecurity challenges and other associated albatross, we got 19/21. That is still over 90 per cent performance.
“This time, I do not think anything will stand on the way of APGA championing the cause especially here in Anambra State.”
He maintained that he had no doubts he would win his election while calling on all APGA faithfuls to keep faith with the party.
