Big Brother Naija Season 11 officially launched on Sunday night as 24 contestants entered the house to compete for a record ₦160 million grand prize.
Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu introduced the new housemates under the theme “Show Ya Sef.” The season is scheduled to run for 72 days.
The contestants are Tram, Temi Nkem, Martins, Abi, Chimsom Chuka, Keivo, Mercedes, Kamsi, Sultex, Aikou, Flora, Bells, Gerard, Oyin, Sheba, Araga, Ricky, Nomy, Barry, Neche, Yusuf, Goddessa, Bluethopia and Cassi.
Several housemates made clear from the start that their focus was on winning rather than romance. “I’m not here for romance or distractions. I’m here to win,” said Tram, a 24-year-old streamer from Lagos
Temi Nkem, a 21-year-old model, said she would play the game on her own terms, while Martins, a visual storyteller and model from Kogi State, expressed eagerness to enjoy the experience while competing for the top prize.
The prize package is the largest in the show’s history, raising expectations for high-stakes competition and drama throughout the season.
