Group Holds Scholarship Examination For Anambra Students

De Imperial Philanthropic Family (DIPF) has organised its 2026 scholarship examination for students seeking admission into Junior Secondary School One (JSS1) across Anambra State.

The scholarship programme is an annual philanthropic initiative sponsored by DIPF, which commenced in 2023.

Speaking on the initiative, the Chief Executive Officer of Best Brain Contest, Akpoaza Group, and Education Consultant to DIPF, Dr Frank Igbojindu, said DIPF comprises philanthropists from the five South-Eastern states of Nigeria who are committed to providing quality education for children.

Dr Igbojindu said the organisation was established to help take children off the streets and provide them with access to education, noting that DIPF, under the leadership of its National President, Sir Darlington Nwabunike, seeks to alleviate poverty through education.

He described education as the bedrock of society and stressed that investing in education amounts to investing in the future.

According to him, the scholarship examination is free, while successful candidates will receive full educational support from JSS1 through Senior Secondary School Three (SS3).

He explained that the scholarship covers tuition fees, as well as registration fees for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE/WAEC), and the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.

Some of the candidates expressed appreciation to DIPF for the opportunity, saying they were optimistic about emerging successful in the examination.

Some parents said they learnt about the scholarship examination through social media and encouraged their children to apply.

They also expressed gratitude to the sponsors for the initiative and prayed that God would continue to bless and replenish them for their philanthropic gesture.
