…Implores all to disregard the zoning arrangements
The Deputy Governor of Anambra State and coordinator of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Anambra Central zone, Dr. Onyekachi Ibezim has expressed gratitude to party stakeholders for showing the spirit of togetherness during its meeting held on monday in Awka.
Ibezim in a press release on Tuesday encouraged APGA faithfuls to continue to support the administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
The press release read: ” I thank you all for the turn out for yesterday’s meeting. For your unflinching support for the party and Prof. Chukwuma Soludo’s administration (Solution Government)
“Decisions were taken but one of such as the micro zoning of positions did not go down well with some members.
“I therefore implore all to disregard the zoning arrangement and move on with the tenets of internal democracy as envisioned by the leader of our great party APGA.
“While thanking you all for the one spirit shown, I encourage all of us to participate fully in the ongoing process aimed at building a stronger and more formidable party”
ANN reports that the Deputy Governor during the meeting had announced that the party had a zoning formular which was adopted after which positions was zoned to the following local governments: State Chairman – Idemili North. Assistant youth leader – Awka North. Publicity Secretary- Dunukofia. Assistant empowerment and disability leader – Idemili-South. Assistant Publicity Secretary – Awka South. Assistant Financial Secratery – Idemili-South. State welfare Secretary – Awka South. Legal Adviser – Aniocha. Publicity Secretary – Awka North and Vice Chairman – Njikoka.
