Nigerian billionaire’s daughter Temi Otedola and singer Mr Eazi have detailed the significant stress and disputes they encountered while organising three weddings in three countries over a three-month period.
The pair described the process as highly demanding, with events scheduled in rapid succession.
“Three weddings in three months is insane,” they stated, highlighting the overwhelming nature of the preparations.
Initially, the couple planned a discreet court wedding in Nigeria, but concerns over privacy arose.
“If we went to the courthouse in Nigeria, it wouldn’t be as private as we wanted,” Otedola explained.
They considered inviting court officials to conduct the ceremony in their home, an option Otedola found appealing, though Mr Eazi expressed reservations, leading to further discussions.
The couple ultimately chose Monaco for their civil ceremony, which Otedola described as holding greater sentimental value.
The United Kingdom was also evaluated as a venue, but Otedola noted it lacked personal significance.
Otedola expressed surprise at the administrative requirements involved in marriage.
“I thought getting married was just deciding and signing papers,” she said. “I didn’t know there was a mountain of administration.”
