Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has declared she will never discuss her earnings with a future spouse, insisting on strict financial boundaries in marriage.
The 34-year-old star made the revelation during an appearance on the ‘Thanks For Coming’ podcast, where she discussed privacy and independence in relationships.
“Tell a man how much I earn, for what? I can never. And I don’t want him to discuss his earnings with me either. I don’t want to know how much he is earning,” Isime said.
She added that while she has no issue with a partner accessing her phone, financial transparency is off-limits. “I’ve no problem with him going through my phone but for what? I would never ask to check his phone.”
Unlike many young women who fantasise about marriage, Isime revealed she has never daydreamed about wedlock. “You know, when young girls sit down and daydream about getting married, I have never done that. All I daydream about is working, making money and being independent,” she said.
