Mrs Nonye Soludo, has thrown support behind athletes who are currently representing Anambra State at ongoing 8th National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State.

Anambra’s First Lady, Mrs Soludo who was speaking in a statement released in Awka, said the team has already made an impressive start, with twelve medals already in the bag, and urged them to go all the way out to clinch more laurels.
Soludo’s wife who noted that having won four gold, four silver and four bronze medals in the competition, the Anambra team is pitched to come out as one of the most successful teams in the journey, and asked the athletes to embrace focus, courage and dedication.
She also urged them to show resilience in every task and to imbibe the Anambra spirit of resilience and can-do mindset.
Mrs Soludo, while asking the Anambra representatives to make the most of their chances, expressed her faith in the talents that are representing the state, and equally asked them to fly Anambra’s legendary colours with pride and passion.
She also spoke on welcoming the team when the tournament is over and appealed to Ndi Anambra to show support and love to the young athletes who are aiming to make the state and country proud.
ANN gathered that Anambra is fielding a total of 124 U15 athletes in 20 Sporting Events at the Festival which will officially kick off at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba on Wednesday.
