Nigeria’s women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, defeated China 88-77 in the series finale on Wednesday.
The victory allowed the Super Falcons of the court to bounce back and close out the series in Foshan, China.
Elizabeth Balogun led the scoring with 26 points, while Grace Efosa added 19 points for Nigeria.
The result marked a strong response from the African champions after earlier matches in the series.
D’Tigress will next travel to Tenerife, Spain, for further competition.
