NYSC Anambra Welcomes New State Coordinator

The leadership of NYSC Anambra witnessed a transition as Mrs. Blessing Ekene Iruma officially handed over the reins to the incoming 15th State Coordinator, Mrs. Pauline Ojisua .

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
the event, which was attended by management staff and stakeholders, was marked by the handover of documents , signifying a seamless transition of leadership within the NYSC Anambra State.

In her remarks, Mrs. Iruma urged the management staff to extend the same high level of cooperation they had given to her to the new Coordinator , emphasizing the continuity of excellence within the Secretariat.

Speaking during the ceremony, Mrs. Ojisua expressed gratitude for the warm reception and outlined her administrative priorities. She assured that her leadership would prioritize the welfare of both Corps members and staff, adding that she would operate an *open-door policy to foster inclusivity and transparency.

Following the handing-over ceremony, Mrs. Ojisua wasted no time in strengthening relationships with key stakeholders. She paid courtesy calls to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youth Development, Engr. Martin Agblili , reinforcing NYSC’s partnership with the state government.

Recognizing the importance of community collaboration, she also met with Igwe Dr. Joel Maduadichie Egwuonwu (Eze-Udo II) of Nibo , Onowu of Umuawulu, Prof. Emma Ezenwaji , and President General Barr. Chris Ekweozor, leaders of communities that play a vital role in hosting the NYSC Orientation Camp.

Additionally, she visited the palace of Ezeukwu of Mbaukwu, Igwe Dr. Patrick Nwokike Anugwu, further solidifying relations with Mbaukwu, one of the host communities for the camp. These engagements underscore her commitment to fostering strong ties with traditional institutions and stakeholders critical to NYSC operations in Anambra State.
