A popular Philanthropist, Nze Vincent Nwankwo, has donated a newly constructed and furnished standard four-bedroom house to a 60-year old indigent widow, Mrs Nkechinyere Nwafor of Onneh, in Orumba South Local Government Area, Anambra State,

Nze Nwankwo made the donation
through his Ezeakunne Foundation recently as part of his empowerment programme.
Nwankwo at the event which took place in his Onneh country home, also empowered four young men of the community with one shuttle bus each, for economic self-reliance and prosperity.
In his address, Nwankwo said the kind gestures were thanksgiving to God for His benevolence and grace upon his life and his family.
‘If you give back to God from His generosity given to you, through giving to the downtrodden in society, your pocket can’t run dry,’ the philanthropist said.
He appealed to the affluent to be generous and compassionate enough to the downtrodden in society, expressed belief that if this was done, crime and criminality would be a thing of the past in Nigerian society.
Nwankwo advised the beneficiaries of the Ezeakunne Foundation Empowerment Programme to be humble, diligent, prudent, and make the best use of the buses to become useful for themselves, and empower other indigents around them.
Speaking in an interview, one of the shuttle bus beneficiaries, Mr Elozonachukwu Martin Ezulike, expressed excitement at the gesture and assured that he would use the bus for the purpose it was given.
Also, the beneficiary of the four-bedroom house apartment, Mrs Nwafor, with tears of joy, thanked Nze Nwankwo for his gesture. They prayed God to reward and continue to bless Nze Nwankwo beyond measure.
The Foundation, during the empowerment programme, distributed 400 bags of rice to indigent individuals in Onneh Community in the spirit of Christmas and new year celebrations.
