The artist sparked fresh reactions online after posting “Pity my soul!” on Sunday night, as speculation mounts over his alleged involvement in the breakdown of the Edohos’ marriage.
Rumours intensified after Frank Edoho publicly claimed he caught his then-wife cheating with a musician, without naming the individual. Social media critic Verydarkman later pointed fingers at Chike in a widely circulated video, warning that the scandal could ruin the singer’s career, which relies heavily on high-paying wedding performances.
“Pity my soul!” Chike wrote in the post, which fans interpret as a response to the intense public scrutiny and allegations.
Despite the controversy, Chike was recently seen at a cinema in Lagos signing autographs and posing for photos with enthusiastic female fans, who sang his hit song “Running To You” in a show of support.
