* Anambra State House of Assembly has called on Governor Chukwuma Soludo to quickly provide all necessary requirements needed for the appointment of ten high court judges approved for Anambra state by the National Judicial Council (NJC) for improved and quick justice delivery. Chief Sponsor of the motion Hon. Ejike Okechukwu the mwmber representing Anaocha two constituency stated that the National Judicial Council in her 101th meeting in February 2023, approved ten slots for Anambra State Judial Service Commission, to shortlist for recommendation of the National Judicial Council for appointment as judges of Anambra State High Court so as to enhance speedy justice delivery.

* Governor of Anambra State Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has stressed the importance of eating balanced diet exercising right in healthy living and long life. Speaking to the press after an 8km walk  in his hometown, Isuofia, Aguata Local Government, to mark his 63rd birthday celebration, Governor Soludo explained that  at 63, he feels 36 because of the lifestyle he adopted.

* The Chairman, Anambra State Waste Management Authority, ASWAMA, Dr. Emma Ezewanji says it will no longer tolerate the non-compliance to the monthly environmental sanitation exercise. Ezewanji while speaking during the July edition of the exercise in Awka, revealed that their first step implementation plan is to clamp down on transporters who ply the road during the period of sanitation exercise and said that going forward anyone caught during the sanitation hours would henceforth be prosecuted.

* Police Commissioner in Anambra State, CP Aderemi Adeoye on Friday 28th July, 2023 led a formidable Patrol of Police Mobile Force and Police Counter Terrorist Unit on Patrol. * The Transition committee chairman Dunukofia Local Government council in partnership with the National Youths Service Corp ( NYSC) Anambra State Chapter has concluded one week
medical outreach for Ndi Dunukofia. The medical outreach was carried out across the six communities in Dunukofia Local Government Namely; Nawgu, Ukwulu, Ifitedunu, Ukpo, Umunnachi and Umudioka.

* Akwa Ọkụkọ Tiwara Akị whose real name is
Chinedu Nwangwu, the recently-kidnapped Anambra native doctor, has begin boasting again after regaining freedom from abductors. ANN recall that Akwa Ọkụkọ was kidnapped barely one week ago in his hotel in Oba, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, by unidentified gunmen, who also shot dead his two security guards during the operation. The popular native doctor who was in captive for one week in the den of his abductors was eventually reportedly released over the weekend after his abductors were said to have made a ransom demand of 300 million naira.

* A civil society organization has called on Governor Chukwuma Soludo to direct the Commissioner for Education to reconsider her stance and conduct a fair and impartial investigation on the allegations made against the Blessed Wisdom Model School located in Onitsha, Anambra State. * Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU) has launched a formal complain to Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, saying enough is enough as it will no longer tolerate what it described as incessant harassment, molestation, beating and killing of Presidents-General of communities in cold blood.
