The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Prof. Ugochukwu Anyaehie has officially flagged off a three-day art exhibition themed “Visual Art and National Pride” at the university campus in Awka.
In his opening remarks, Anyaehie emphasized on the power of visual art as a tool for national consciousness, cultural preservation, and social transformation. He commended the organizers and participating artists for their creativity and commitment to projecting positive national values through art.
The VC noted that the exhibition aligns with the university’s vision of promoting innovation, creativity, and global relevance through academic and cultural initiatives.
